Print Your Own Wedding Invitations

Saturday, July 4th, 2009

I do not know why more people do not print your own invitations. I think that being able to add your own personal touch to a card is fantastic. Despite there being a lot of invitations and greetings cards around, there never seems to be one that has exactly the right words and the right pictures on one card. If perhaps you do then you have to end up paying a lot of money. Y in-laws and parents make their own cards and my Mum even had a go at print your own wedding invitations when she did some for my sisters wedding.

My in-laws have some great card stock paper and print something appropriate. My Mother makes something really special as she is good at craft and cuts out pictures or uses a combination of printing, stamping and stickers to create something completely unique. She tends to spend a lot of money on her hobby and her cards are probably dearer than those in the shops. However I think that a card that has been hand made is appreciated far more than a shop bought one and everyone comments on how good the ones she makes are.

Clean Jewelry

Wednesday, June 10th, 2009

My friend has just treated herself to one of the ultrasonic cleaners available in the market and she is getting stunning results. Every time I see her, she is wearing some sparkly and clean jewelery which she has cleaned up using the machine. She has a massive collection of jewelry you see and a lot of it was antique and had got rather dirty. She had tucked it all away, intending to get it professionally cleaned sometime in the future. However, she now has been able to use her sonic jewelry cleaner and get that sort of results herself.

It is fantastic and I am almost getting sold on the idea myself. I have some pieces which I am constantly having cleaned and I think that in the long run, having a crest ultrasonic cleaner could save me a lot of time and money. I have even been looking around on the Internet to see what sort of prices they are and whether I can afford one. I have been reading some reviews as well to make sure that the model I choose will be suitable for what I want to use it for.

Track the resource

Thursday, January 8th, 2009

Human resource is one of the growing fields in any corporate. People are recruited for gathering other resources or the working crowd. To make the work of human resource team simple and easier there is applicant tracking software available. These are basically designed with simple user interface and database stored in the company’s storage device. The user interface is made online so that applicant can apply directly from outside. Then there will be resume parser which does the job of parsing the resumes and classifying them based on the technical expertise and experiences of the person applied. Resume parser makes the simpler by doing the job of sorting. At the end the human resource people just need to look into a small list of sorted resumes to finalize the people to be recruited. Staffing CRM also uses the recruiting software nowadays. Also, currently some firms even provide customized software based on the company and its requirements. Some firms even have configurable features which can be modified for specific industry needs. Few firms also give after delivery support and service. The company may even go for maintenance with the same firm. There are also firms which provide technical assistance after they deliver the applicant tracking software to the companies.

Do we know NOTHING about life?

Thursday, June 12th, 2008

Do think at the end of our lives most people did it right?

Do you think humanity actually truly knows what life is really about?

I don’t know if anyone can say “they did it right” ,all most of us can say is that we did our best.I read a saying the other day andI will share it.”Don’t just go through life, grow through life.” I guess that is a large part of what life is about. Life is not just about me but also about the many people whose lives I touch.Remember it costs nothing to be kind.

……….

LIFE, also known as The Game of Life, is a board game originally created in 1860 by Milton Bradley, as The Checkered Game of Life. The modern version was originally published in 1960 by the Milton Bradley Company (now a subsidiary of Hasbro). Two to six players can participate in one game; however, variations of the game have been made to accommodate a maximum of eight or ten players.

The game consists of a track, on which players travel by spinning a small wheel with spaces numbered 1 through 10, located in the middle of the board. The board also contains small mountains, buildings, and other similar pieces, so the playing area does not appear flat. Playing pieces are small, colored plastic automobiles which come in six different colors (red, blue, white, yellow, orange, and green), and each pawn has six holes in the top in which the “people pegs” are placed throughout the game as the player “gets married” and has or adopts “children”.

Each game also includes a setup for a bank, which includes imitation money (in denominations ranging from $5,000 to $100,000), insurance policies (automobile, life, fire, and/or homeowners’ insurance depending on the version), $20,000 promissory notes, and stock certificates. Other tangibles vary with the game version

…………

Yes we only know about, which is not the same as knowing which means becoming the known. Knowing about China is not the same as going there and assimilating the experience.

The mind presumes to know, but can only know about. Socrates, in his pursuit of finding the absolute truth, admitted that he did not know anything.

Enlightenment is the liberation from the duality of the human mind which obstructs reality and limits us from truth. All thoughts, ideas, concepts and notions are about something and are actually vanities. That is why in the East, traditionally, emphasis is put on the pursuit of Enlightenment, and not intellectual accumulation.

………..

I was taught that 500 years ago they thought the world was flat and the earth was the center of the universe, etc… The Greeks accurately measured the circumference of the Earth and medieval knew the Earth was round by IT’S SHADOW ON THE MOON! Much of what people have thought was so in history was nonsense, including what we think people didn’t know! I try and keep a sense of the likely fallacy of what I believe in, but that being said, I DO BELIEVE in things.

I believe God has a plan and that I will be following it whatever I do, because it isn’t my choice. So if God has planned me to be a gangster, I will be a gangster and if God has planned me to be a saint, I’ll be a saint. I try and be good because I’d rather God chose me to be that, so that is God’s motivation within me to do good.

I used to long for the moment of death, when it would all make sense. But then I saw my father die and he wasn’t ready and had no more to go on than the rest of us. I don’t want to wait for the end to understand. So I will cling to my “ridiculous little ideas” and make the best of my life

………..

Biologically…….. yes
Neurologically…..yes (much more than ever)
Phenomenally…..no

………..

Nope, and no matter how much further technology advances, there will be no way to understand life other than the fact that we must live it.

Banquet Seating

Wednesday, February 27th, 2008

When shopping for banquet furniture you want to consider the atmosphere you are trying to create. Different arrangements can give your establishment a unique and elegant look. Your furniture plays a large role in store’s identity. Creating something stunning offers fabulous branding opportunities for those with an eye for fashion.

When deciding on the chairs it is important to choose something that is both comfortable, and ergonomically supporting. Diners can receive much more enjoyment from their meal when they are seated properly. There are many different options when it comes to seating such as chairs with tall backs or armrests. Which type you choose depends on your establishment, and the mood you are attempting to create. Other things to look for include making sure the seat is slightly wider than your hips. This way you are able to sit far enough back in the chair to use the lumbar support. Most ergonomic chairs have a waterfall front so the seat doesn’t catch you behind the knees. Diners may be seated for quite a while, so supportive cushioning is a must. Quality, comfortable banquet seating can give your establishment an edge over the competitors, so don’t overlook this critical part of business.

Philosophers: How do you resolve the problem of evil?

Wednesday, February 13th, 2008
  • Simple; “evil” (like “good”) does not exist in any real form, and is merely a concept that has been invented to describe actions that harm us.

In reality, everyones actions are justifiable as everyone acts for the best interests of something. In this way, no-one truly thinks that what THEY do is evil, unless they have feelings of guilt from a morality that has been imposed on them.

  • What is Evil? define evil? What is considered evil to one would be considered normal to another. For good to prevail evil has to be defined so as it is impossible to define evil then your question has no solution

  • In my opinion you can’t resolve the problem of evil, humanity is made with a natural balance and where there is good, there will always be evil.

  • is a concept of a ruling class.
Without evil, good cannot exist. That is like Tao.
Actually , one can negate evil. without the good, the bad cannot exist.
    A harmony of balance.
I choose to stay in the middle of the extremes.

  • hmmm! Evil is as Evil Does. Do no Evil See no Evil Hear no Evil Think no Evil then it Does and never can exist. If Evil did exist before then it will diminish if given no heed, no fuel and it will close in on itself like the black hole it is. The black hole space and time everlasting existing only if given the cause for existence. Good however cannont then be given any measure and the abundance of good should then prevail having no measure what so ever?

  • Evil is an essential part of creation. But for the evil, no good can thrive. It is the evil which glorify the good. The world is created based on duality. Creation can be sustained only when there is duality like male and female, heat and cold, joy and sorrow, good and bad, poverty and affluence. For instance, if there is only one colour, say ‘white’, how any art form can thrive. Everything will be white only. The ups and downs of the life sustain us. If we are immersed in luxury for ever, we will commit suicide. The summer heat drives you to AC rooms and ice cream parlour. The snow fall drives you to the rooms where room heaters are installed. The hills are beauty because of the valley. The lake is beautiful because of the landscape. God has created varieties in every little creation. Hence we are able to live in this world. Hence they are very very essential for our life. Only thing is we should NOT harbour evil in our own selves. Sairam.
