India’s Jwala Gutta and V. Diju reached the mixed doubles final of the Bulgarian Open badminton Grand Prix in Sofia Saturday, beating Wijaya Rendra and Meiliana Jauhari of Indonesia.

Symbiosis eves win volleyball title

Symbiosis girls clinched the title in the under-14 inter school volleyball tournament conducted by the Zilla Parishad at the Azam Campus Volleyball Courts on Tuesday. Symbiosis had no trouble in beating Kataria High School in straight sets 25-23 and 25-15. Urvi Khasnis and Priyadarshani Kokre played a key role in securing a victory for Symbiosis.
